Roger K. Pruitt is the Managing Attorney of RK Pruitt Law Firm. His professional experience in bankruptcy and finance began in 1996, giving him decades of exposure to consumer debt, financial restructuring, and bankruptcy matters before entering legal practice.
In 2001, Roger worked as a bankruptcy paralegal, gaining firsthand experience with bankruptcy filings, court procedures, creditor issues, and client case management. That practical foundation continues to shape his approach to helping individuals, families, farmers, fishermen, and businesses navigate Chapter 7, Chapter 11, Chapter 12, and Chapter 13 bankruptcy matters.
Roger served in the United States Air Force from 1987 to 1991. He later earned a Master of Arts in History from the University of Nebraska at Kearney and a Juris Doctor from Charleston School of Law. Since 2019, he has been admitted to practice in South Carolina and has been a member of the South Carolina Bar and the Richland County Bar Association. His professional affiliations have also included the American Bar Association and the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys.
